Cincinnati’s First Pop-Up Shop Opens in Over-the-Rhine
Opening on November 26th at 1213 Vine Street in Over-the-Rhine. Locally owned businesses will have their products for sale in the OTR Holiday Pop Up shop for nine days over four weekends through December 19th. Cincinnati joins cities around the country, like New York, Los Angeles and Portland.
“Locally owned businesses are the heart of Over-the-Rhine,” said Brian Tiffany, president of the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce. “All of our Pop-Up vendors are local businesses and have fantastic products but don’t have their own retail locations. Now they will for the next four weeks.”
Our shops include:
- Powerhouse Factories, headquartered in Newport, focuses on dynamic design projects for national companies and is driven by the success of the company’s rock posters, which continue to be created for new venues and musical artists.
- Nati Evolvement was founded in 2005 as a graphic representation of the vibrant culture in Cincinnati. Nati Cincinnati-themed apparel is meant to inspire and reflect the positive changes taking place in Cincinnati our city and to create a recognizable brand that facilitates connections between Cincinnatians across the globe.
- Chocolats Latour, founded by Shalini Latini and based in Northside, was founded with the philosophy of creating hand crafted truffles with fair trade chocolate and local ingredients, presented in earth friendly packaging.
- Studio Vertu, started by Mark Schmidt in 1995, produces coasters, magnets, trivets, clocks and more in its facility on Central Parkway in Cincinnati.
- Chris Berre and Michael Palmer are the Cincinnatians behind Artfully Disheveled. The pair co-design ties, bow ties and pocket squares.
