FAMILY FALL FEST AND FRIGHT NIGHTS ARRIVE IN WASHINGTON PARK

Washington Park is pleased to announce the start of their newest seasonal event: Kids Fall Fest. Every Saturday in October from 2PM to 4PM, You are invited to join us in the south end of the park (by the bandstand) for an afternoon of wacky fun. Kids can play games and win cool prizes, clown around with circus performers, get their faces painted and more. Need something to help you get your family in the Halloween spirit? Stop by our pumpkin patch. Pick out your favorite, decorate it and take it home with you as a souvenir. Want to know the best part about Kids Fall Fest? It’s all FREE! After Kids Fall Fest, feel free to stick around and browse the eclectic retail offerings of Vine and Main Streets, or dine at one of Over-The-Rhine’s many restaurants.  Just be sure to return to Washington Park by 7PM for our first Family Fright Night of the season. This Saturday, from 7PM to 11PM, friends and families alike will be treated to a FREE horror double feature, the first of which being a childhood favorite, followed by a frightening classic.

We’re kicking off the series with a screening of “Ghostbusters” at 7PM, and a showing of Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds” at 8:45PM. Worried about trying to keep warm? In addition to our usual offerings, Washington Park’s concession stands will also serve piping hot coffee, cocoa and spiked apple cider.
